We decided to meet up at lunch time and talk through things. There were too many unknowns and we were going in circles. Emotionally we decided that we ought to finish it and break up.
Half way out of the door, with tears in our eyes, we talked a bit more...
Breaking up didn't feel right for either of us. We hugged and made up, worked out a plan to improve things and both left feeling a lot happier.
Fingers crossed that love will out...

Good luck mate. Remember the chocolate.
Six month stage is normally when you have to take that further leap and expose yourself emotionally (having spent the last six exposing yourselves, ahem, physically). It's a dauting rite of passage, even when you are with the right person. Hang in there Doobrie and give the other half time, I'm certain all will come good. Have faith, after all Love is just another religion.
Take it one day at a time. I can say for sure that I've been there when she has. One day at a time. Not two, three, or one behind. Make sure you give the best to each other. If you do, then that's really love.
Best wishes to you.
